Privacy Policy

GrowthNerds, LLC (“GrowthNerds,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides software that helps independent insurance agencies recruit, engage, and support candidates and clients. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit our website, request access, use our platform, or interact with recruiting communications sent through our services.

Depending on how you interact with GrowthNerds, we may collect:

• Contact and account information such as name, email address, phone number, company or agency name, and login credentials.
• Application and recruiting information submitted through opportunity pages or forms, including employment interest, scheduling preferences, and messages you send to us or our customers.
• Usage and device information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referral URLs, and general analytics about how our website and platform are used.
• Communications metadata related to emails and text messages sent through the platform, including delivery status, replies, and opt-out requests.

We use personal information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the GrowthNerds platform and website.
• Respond to access requests, support inquiries, and account-related needs.
• Help our customers communicate with applicants and candidates about recruiting opportunities, scheduling, and follow-up.
• Send service-related notices, security alerts, and administrative messages.
• Monitor performance, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

When you submit a job application or otherwise provide a mobile number, you may receive text messages related to that application — for example, scheduling links, reminders, or follow-up about an intro session. Message frequency varies based on your status in the recruiting process.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of further text messages. Reply HELP for help. After you opt out, we will send a confirmation and stop sending marketing or recruiting texts, except where another channel is required by law.

We may share personal information with:

• Agency customers using GrowthNerds to manage recruiting for their organization.
• Service providers that help us deliver the platform, such as hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, calendar integrations, and analytics providers.
• Professional advisors or authorities when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction.

We do not sell personal information.

If you are a GrowthNerds client, you may connect your Google Calendar so that confirmed interview sessions are added to it automatically. When you do, our access to Google user data is limited to providing that scheduling feature, as described below.

• What we access. Using the Google Calendar calendar.events scope only, we create and manage the calendar events our platform generates for your booked sessions. We do not access your other calendars, your calendar settings, or events our platform did not create.
• How we use it. We add an event to your calendar when a candidate books an interview session, update that event if the session is rescheduled, and remove the event from your calendar if the appointment is cancelled — adding the candidate as a guest so your calendar always reflects your current booked appointments. We do not request or store a Google-hosted meeting link.
• How we share it. We do not sell Google user data, share it, or use it for advertising. We share it only with the infrastructure providers that operate this feature on our behalf, and only as needed to do so.
• How we protect it. Access is authorized through Google OAuth; we never receive or store your Google password. The credential we store (a refresh token) is encrypted at rest, short-lived access tokens are never stored, and all access happens over encrypted connections.
• Retention and deletion. We keep your Google Calendar connection until you disconnect it or your account is closed. Disconnecting Google Calendar from your portal settings, or deleting your account, revokes our access with Google and deletes the stored credential. Calendar events already created remain on your Google Calendar under your control until you remove them there.
• Limited Use.GrowthNerds’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models, and is not transferred to any third-party AI or ML service.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services, support our customers’ recruiting workflows, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and how it is used.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information by contacting us. If you receive recruiting messages, you can opt out of SMS as described above. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages, if provided.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

GrowthNerds is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
